Wilderness/Hunting - The Salmon River R.V. Park is situated on the edge of the largest continuous wilderness area in the lower 48 states. Elk Bend is famous for it’s wildlife. Take a hike along the Gold Bug Ridge or up the Lime Creek/ North Basin Trail and view Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Elk, Deer, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, and much, much more.
This is an excellent base camp for hunters. The elk, mule deer, whitetail
deer, bear, lion, upland game birds, water foul and turkey hunting is
right out your door. The high desert terrain is also perfect for falconry.
