The Town of Salmon, Idaho– Salmon River RV Park,
located in Elk Bend, Idaho is a small community just 20 miles south of
Salmon, Idaho. Salmon has a golf course, many good restaurants, RV service,
parks and shopping. It is also the birthplace of Sacajawea and is an important

Elk Bend is famous for it’s wildlife. Take a hike along the Gold Bug Ridge or up the Lime Creek/ North Basin Trail and view Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Elk, Deer, Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, and much, much more. This is an excellent base camp for hunters. The elk, mule deer, whitetail
deer, bear, lion, upland game birds, water foul and turkey hunting is
right out your door. The high dessert terrain is also perfect for falconry. |
